Sometimes, kiddo, I feel like this, too.
Especially when we’re not quite to the halfway mark in the semester, but the papers are piling up and there’s a conference in Boston to attend next week and after that it’s Spring Break and then Easter and then I’ve got to power through finals and all of those research papers before final grades are due and then I leave for India for two weeks and yeah, lying on the floor watching some My Little Pony sounds pretty good right about now.

YES THIS.
.
I am sitting down at my desk for the first time today. It’s 2:45. I’ve been running nonstop since Thursday.
Do you at least have some downtime on the horizon? I just finished prepping a blog post tomorrow about that conference I’m attending in Boston next week, and even though it’s going to be so busy and so intense, I’ve ended up looking at it like it’s going to be a vacation!
Some. Husband is sick, so I feel like I need to do extra at home, so that kind of cuts into any downtime I might have.
I hope he feels better and that you get some downtime. I’m sending some of Ruthie’s “go to sleep” vibes to your daughter so that maybe she’ll get exhausted earlier than usual and fall asleep.
